Captain America

Captain America has been one of my favourite characters since the Winter Soldier and I absolutely love this super stylised artwork by KrisAnka. I love the simple colouring aesthethic with just a single shadow and the dynamic proportions. I wanted to translate those proportions and energy to the 3D model and I’m very happy with how it turned out!
The model is actually fully rigged, and I had thought about trying to animate it but the weight painting and corrective shape keys are just far too much work, although I did actually use some camera based shape keys to keep the face looking on model at every angle.
