Flare

I always love seeing cool designs on Twitter/X and Gaziter is one of my favourite artists. Their designs are always so creative and appealing and they always make for great 3D models! Flare is a somewhat simple model, seeing as there’s no actual hair to model and the only clothing is the hoodie, but I wanted to see what I could with the Galaxy material.

Over the past couple of years I’ve been getting more into the technical side of Blender learning more about materials, drivers, scripting etc, so I knew I could do something cool with the Galaxy material. The final result uses 3 different textures all parallaxing at different amounts to create fake depth, and I think it turned out well!
